Please create the ability to copy a requisition regardless if it is in "My Account" or not. This restriction is causing us extra work. For example a requisition is created by someone in our engineering department. A few months later someone else will want the same thing. Usually this "same thing" will be multiple specific line-items.

A another example is when a blanket PO is renewed, there might be many line items -- some as many as 35 right now.

These kind of things are handled by any body in the same department.

My feeling is if you can see it, why not be able to copy it.

I'm bringing this up again, because now we are faced with having to copy requisitions that originated with someone that is no longer at our company. It would be really helpful if people in the same department can copy each others reqs.

It would be great if users on the same hierarchical approval branch could view what the others have on order. Often our researchers go out into the field leaving others in the lab to wonder whether or not they’ve ordered the supplies necessary to run their samples. As a workaround our buyers search through requisitions and email PDF’s of recent orders to their lab mates so they may identify their products. It’s manageable at the moment but it would be nice to eliminate these manual steps and grant our researchers independence.

In My Account, users can view requisitions that they've approved. But if they haven't approved the requisition, then they are not authorized to see it.

We'll look into the ability to copy a requisition if you are authorized to see it.

I Think at least the buyer should be able to copy any requisition directly from the Requests tab. Even if he/she didn't create the requisition and therefore is not in his/her "My Account". Anyone could contact the buyer and ask him/her to duplicate the req#152 for example on their behalf.

That will work -- although this is already in an other thread -- and having the ability to copy the text attachments would be great.

I'm in this same boat. While a buyer is on vacation, I need to copy his requisitions and POs and can't. Since you can copy in "My Accounts" it would be super productive to do it from the Request or Order tabs.

Thanks.
